  • Job Description:

    We are looking for qualified superintendent for specialty precast concrete work. You will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings, building forms, setting forms, installing rebar, pouring concrete, stripping forms, and cleaning.

    Qualifications/Education/Skills:

    • Onsite training is mandatory for all positions

    • Able to read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch

    • Proficient with table saw, skill saw, nail guns, air compressors, hammers, & squares

    • Strong math skills for layout and fabrication of forms

    • Have outstanding attendance and ability to communicate well with others

    • Accountability

    • Ability to work overtime, if required

    • Ability to work in wet, cold and hot conditions

    • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

    • Must follow COVID-19 Plan and all other Safety regulations on site

    • Must pass Standard Operating Procedure Test

  • Job Description

    Work under the direct supervision of the department foreman to safely and efficiently carry out the following but not limited to: 

    • Wear all required PPE 

    • Clean concrete forms, tools, & production area 

    • Apply form oil to forms 

    • Cut, Tie, & set steel cages 

    • Set hole formers and necessary cast in items for production 

    • Set forms, pour concrete, & strip forms 

    Qualifications, Education & Required Skills

    • Great attendance & great attitude 

    • Ability to communicate with other employees 

    • Knowledge of basic tools & power tools 

    • Completion of required safety training 

    • Must be able to read tape measure 

    • Bending and lifting up to 100 lbs. 

    • Working in hot, wet, & cold conditions

  • Job Description

    Work to safely and efficiently carry out the following but not limited to: 

    Outside Responsibilities: 

    • Unload and place all incoming deliveries; corresponding paperwork must be maintained 

    • Verify products received are exactly what was ordered 

    • Mark delivered items with their corresponding job number (when required) 

    • Maintain all inventory counts per designation 

    • Distribute inventory items to departments daily 

    • Maintain clean and organized inventory locations 

    • Load and unload miscellaneous items on the yard 

    • Visually inspect inventory hot items daily; notify management if an item is running low immediately 

    • Assist in other manual labor tasks on the yard, when requested by management 

    • Wear all required PPE 

    Inside Responsibilities: 

    • Coordinate with vendors via email and phone 

    • Issue purchase orders to vendors for inventory items 

    • Issue purchase orders to vendors for ad hoc and maintenance items needed by management 

    • Maintain organization of all purchase orders and corresponding paperwork 

    • Verify products received are exactly what was ordered 

    • Match all incoming deliveries paperwork with the corresponding purchase orders, then give them to AP 

    • Record all incoming deliveries in designated location 

    • Maintain and match certs for items ordered (when certs are required) 

    • Maintain a clean office area 

    • Maintain all office inventory counts

  •  Job Description

    Work under the direct supervision of a Certified Quality Control Technician to safely and efficiently carry out the following but not limited to: 

    • Wear all required PPE 

    • Safety Jacket must be worn at all times 

    • Perform pre-pour & post pour inspections on all products 

    • Post pours must be turned in daily on items produced from the previous day 

    • Paperwork must be turned into the office after items are approved, marked and ready for shipment 

    • You are responsible for assuring that each structure is made per specifications 

    • Mark the Job number, date produced, structure type, lot number, structure number, and your initials must be on each structure 

    • Track each product produced on you daily production cover sheet 

    • Monitor all forms daily for quality and cleanliness and report any issues immediately to Operations Manager 

    • Inform Operations Manager and Plant Manager, if forms need to be cleaned, repaired, or taken out of service

    • Ability to track and keep all paperwork organized 

    • Must be able to pass NPCA classes 

    • Must become certified by ACI for “Field Testing Technician” 

    • Must become certified by VDOT for “VDOT Plant Technician” 

    • Ability to become certified in future classes as needed
